Many people consider vegetarianism as a homogeneous group that does not eat meat. But nothing can be further from the truth. There are various categories of vegetarians that vary, such as the reason for being vegetarian in the first place.

A vegetarian is generally defined as someone who does not eat meat. But someone who is vegetarian can imagine consuming dairy products such as milk, eggs, and cheese. Lacto ovo vegetarians do not consume meat, fish, or poultry, but consume eggs, milk or cheese. A lakto vegetarian consumes milk and cheese products, but does not consume eggs.

A vegan is someone who does not consume animal products or by-products, including dairy foods. They only eat vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds and peas. They also don't use animal products, like skin. Vegan also does not use white sugar because it is often processed with substances derived from animal bones that whiten sugar.

There are other categories in the vegetarian community. Fruitarians, for example, only eat fruit. Their reasons are fruits, including fruits such as tomatoes, preserving themselves and not needing to be planted to create food sources. They consider it to be the most balanced and harmonious way of eating, which is the most natural.

All of the above will eat vegetables, fruits, and cooked beans. There is also a growing movement to only eat raw food or live food. This is based on the assumption that the process of cooking food is mostly nutrients from it, and to get all the nutritional values, vitamins and amino acids from food, most of which are consumed raw, or juiced. If cooked at all, it should only be cooked to a little above 100 degrees, so that nutrients are still maintained.

The more you limit yourself to your diet, however, the more educated you must be to ensure that you get all the necessary protein and vitamins that you need to maintain good health, especially muscle and heart health.
