The Truth about Fish Oil
Essential fatty acids must always be part of our daily diet - without them, we take one step closer to our deaths. Essential fatty acids are divided into two families: omega-6 EFA and omega-3 EFAS.

Although there are only a few differences to distinguish two groups of essential fatty acids from each other, studies have revealed that too much intake of omega-6 EFA can cause inflammation, blood clots and tumor growth. The good news, however, is that the opposite is true for omega-3 EFA. Omega-6 EFA can be found in vegetable oils while omega-3 EFA can be found in fish oil among other foods.

Vs. Omega-6 Omega-3
Doctors and scientists have the same opinion that the causes behind increasing cases of heart disease, hypertension or high blood pressure, obesity, diabetes, premature aging and certain types of cancer are nothing but unbalanced intake of omega-3 and omega-6. EFA.

As mentioned earlier, omega-6 EFAs can be found in vegetable oil. This includes but is not limited to corn oil and soybean oil, both of which contain high amounts of linoleic acid. Omega-3 EFAs on the other hand can also be found in sea plankton and walnuts and flaxseed oil. It must be significant to note that fish fat and fish oil contain eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), fatty acids that have been observed to provide many benefits to the human body. In the early 1970s, a study of Greenland Eskimo revealed that one of the main reasons why they rarely suffer from heart disease is because of their high-fat diet (mainly consisting of fish).

Two essential fatty acids, EPA and DHA, also help prevent atherosclerosis, heart attacks, depression and various forms of cancer. Foods added to fish oil have also been shown to be beneficial in treating diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, Raynaud's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Benefits of Other Fish Oil
There are more diseases and situations where the intake of fish oil has proven to be very beneficial.

Making the Heart Healthier
The heart is one of the most important parts of our body and having an unhealthy heart means having to suffer a rather limited age. Of course, it is in our best interest to keep our hearts happy and healthy and one way to do this is to eat foods that contain fish oil.

The results revealed that those who ate more fish than others had lower levels of C-reactive protein and interleukin-6, factors that are usually used to measure the possibility of vascular inflammation. This benefit remains even when the various risks associated with a high fish diet are taken into account.

Fish Becomes Thin
In Perth, Australia, a study has revealed that consumption of fish can be used to fight hypertension and obesity. Researchers from UWA (University of Western Australia) have found that weight loss diets including regular amounts of fish can be very effective in reducing blood pressure and increasing glucose tolerance.

Fish Oil to Combat Asthma
People who suffer from respiratory problems such as asthma tend to be considered unhealthy and unhealthy. They must now be happy to know that certain studies have revealed the benefits of fish oil for individuals who are burdened with asthma. Statistics show that around 20 to 25% of children currently suffer from one form of asthma or another at a certain point in their lives. And certain evidence reveals a normal food diet with high linoleic acid content as the reason behind it.
UW (University of Wyoming) researchers conducted a study by subjecting a number of children to a high-fish diet while others continued on their regular diet. The results revealed that participants who ate more fish were less susceptible to asthma attacks and were able to breathe more easily too.
